Better Start for Children with Disability

The Better Start for Children with Disability initiative provides funding for early intervention services for children aged 13 and under with eligible disabilities.
 

 

Your GP can refer a child to an eligible allied health provider to assist with diagnosis of the child or for the purpose of contributing to the child’s disability treatment and management plan.

 

These services include:
 

• Occupational therapy

• Audiology

• Physiotherapy

• Orthoptics

• Speech Pathology

• Psychology

• Optometrist
