MyMedicare Registration Now Open

We’re excited to announce that you can now register with MyMedicare and choose our clinic as your preferred medical center. Registration can be done online or in person at our clinic.

How to Register Online:
 

1. Begin by logging into your Medicare Online Account or the Express Plus Medicare Mobile app.

2. Search for our medical center in the list of registered GP clinics on MyMedicare.

3. Once selected, our staff will accept your registration within the MyMedicare system.
    

Tip: If you can’t find our clinic listed, please check back later, as we may still be completing the setup process.
 

How to Register In Person:

Visit our clinic and fill out a registration form at reception. By signing, you consent to our staff completing your registration in the MyMedicare system on your behalf.

What is MyMedicare?

MyMedicare is a new, voluntary registration model that offers additional Medicare benefits to patients with a Medicare or DVA Veteran card. To access these benefits, you’ll need to register your preferred clinic with Medicare. If you’ve had two face-to-face visits with GPs at our clinic in the past 24 months, you’re eligible to register starting from 1 October 2023.
 

Benefits of Registering:
 

• Cost: Registration is free and optional.

• Enhanced Care: Registering helps strengthen your relationship with your preferred GP, leading to better ongoing care. While you can still visit other clinics, you’ll enjoy extra benefits at your registered home clinic.

• Telehealth Services: Registered patients will have access to longer Medicare-funded telehealth consultations (over 20 minutes) with GPs at your home clinic, supported by a larger rebate.

• Triple Bulk Billing Incentive: From 1 November, GPs at your home clinic may offer bulk billing incentives for children under 15, pensioners, and concession card holders, including longer telehealth consultations.

Important Notes:
 

• Voluntary Registration: You are not required to register, but doing so ensures you receive extra Medicare benefits at your chosen clinic.

• No Deadlines: Registration opens on 1 October 2023, with no set closing date.

• One Clinic Only: You can only register with one clinic to strengthen the patient-GP relationship. However, children can be registered without needing two prior visits.

• Children's Registration: Parents/guardians must register children under 14 in person. Teens aged 14-17 can register independently or with parental consent.

• Flexibility: You can visit any clinic or doctor, but extra benefits are available only at your registered home clinic. You can also unregister anytime if you change your mind.
